Listening, Accepting and Problem Solving
Paul provides counseling services within a Christian context. He has been a licensed professional counselor since 2012 with over 15 years of experience working in mental health treatment centers. Paul works with a variety of counseling issues that include: trauma, depression, anxiety, addictions, grief and loss, and identity development. In many cases, Paul provides an experiential counseling experience that includes expressive arts and music therapies. In addition to being in private practice, Paul is a pastor at his church serving individuals and families as well as ministering in music.
Paul has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as trauma-focused therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Paul provides these services for those dealing with suicidal ideations and traumatic experiences throughout the lifespan including abuse, attachment issues, and other life-altering events.
Paul's passion to reach the hurting led him to establish a non-profit organization called A Hope and A Future (AHAF). AHAF helps individuals and families respond to developmental challenges more effectively by providing the supportive resources needed to build healthy lives within a Christian context.
